Spring Chinook/Summer Steelhead
We’ll primarily fish Oregon’s Willamette River, Multnomah Channel, Columbia River, and at times, Oregon’s coastal rivers. Spring Chinook are the fish to catch and are the most valued and treasured salmon of the year!
Fall Chinook/Coho
Have you ever heard of Buoy 10 on the Columbia River? This fishery has been referred to as the best the world has to offer when it comes to the abundant and prized King Salmon and Coho Salmon runs. This is a world-class salmon fishing experience! These trips will take place from Buoy 10 in Astoria on the Columbia River and at various locations on the Columbia. Fishing trips will also be available on coastal rivers.
STURGEON
The lower and upper Columbia River and also the Willamette River are where these bad boys like to hang out. Retention varies on location and regulations. Fishing for sturgeon is permitted year-round. It’s hard to imagine the size of some of these prehistoric monster fish that can live over 100 years! The reality of catching one of these fish is there! A dream fish you really have to hold on to — literally!
Kokanee
Fishing for Kokanee can be some non-stop action with lakes that have a healthy bag limit! If you’ve never had Kokanee that are suited for any meal of the day, you are really missing out! These trips are a special order and are served best with proper planning. Drop me a line to see what’s available.
Crabbing
Best done during winter months but usually open year-round. With a valid shellfish license you can keep 12 Dungeness crab per person, per day! It’s a fun way to spend the day. These crustaceans that scurry across the floors of our oceans, bays, and in our boats – are a real treat! With a don’t-mess-with-me attitude and a determined look in their eyes, they are truly delicious gems from the ocean to share with friends and family.
